With the world just a mouse click away, connecting and communicating with people has never being easier. Online networking sites such as MySpace and FaceBook(there are others) act as a “social portal” free of charge. Users would sign up; post their profile which can be viewed by other users. However, social intercourse is restricted to posting user feedback/comments and instant messaging, true “live interaction” such as voice is not available. In a way this is almost anti-social. Wouldn’t it be cool, if the user could click on a “talk” button and talk directly with another user?

TwoipLink has formulated just this concept which enables voice interaction between any users. With the popularity of internet social networking, the services provided by these sites MUST, MUST be proportional to their popularity. In order for these sites to maintain their users, TwoipLink is a must have on each user account.

With a little help from TwoipLink, true online social networking is coming and it’s here to stay!!!

Mobile phones are great way to communicate for people on the move; however you are limited to where you can call. Any long distance calls will cost you immensely. Generally, you would purchase a long distance plan with your provider to lower the dollars you would have to pay out. This could quickly add up as carriers charge users for making and maintaining the connection. The problem is that the cost to communicate is preventing people from communicating – it’s like saying “you can have your cake but you cannot eat it.”

TwoipLink is breaking down this barrel with mTwoip. Currently mTwoip runs on any jme(j2me) phone. It makes requests to the TwoipLink server to connect any two numbers and within seconds, you will receive a call establishing your connection. Since this is an incoming call, the cost to the user is discounted considerably – this is by far cheaper than any long distance plan.

With TwoipLink, you not only can have your cake but you can also eat it as well – WOW!!!

The most talked about topic in telephony these days seem to revolve around fixed mobile convergence and connectivity. The idea of fixed mobile convergence has been around for quite sometime now. Success of VoIP over the recent years has fueled convergence of IP-PBX, PSTN and Cellular networks. The basic idea is one device/application that works over both circuit switched and IP networks. Figure below illustrates this idea.

twoip.Connect web-fixed-mobile convergence

TwoipLink services will let you converge all your communication points. Fixed mobile and web convergence service with twoip.Connect. What twoip.Connect gives you is the ability to use your computer to connect to any fixed or mobile termination point. You can use the Web client from any modern browser without any configuration or download or installation requirements. Embedding the client on any website essentially makes the web page a convergence device/terminal. Your mobility and reachability increases as your number of convergence terminals increase.

Subscribing to call hunting and call forwarding service transparently hides these convergence terminals. Conventionally we are inclined to map a person to a phone device, often trying out multiple phone numbers before reaching that person. With twoip.Connect a single communication link on your website can fork calls to your pre-configured destinations, whether it’s a mobile phone or land phone or even an IP phone.

If you want to reach or be reached ubiquitously, then twoipLink services is for you.
