The idea behind TwoipLink is such that you would be able to make PC to Phone Call or PC to PC calls without installing any software. TwoipLink is a voip client implemented in a way that it can run across all browsers (unlike activeX solutions that only works on IE). TwoipLink today is supported on all windows platform, it can also run on Mac and Linux based platforms but is untested since I don’t have access to those OS. TwoipLink is developed using Java and hence provides seemless integration on web browsers using the JavaPlugin. To use TwoipLink you need port 4569 UDP outbound open and a microphone and headphone to be able to carryout VoIP calls. The diagram below illustrates how it works:
